Soil Sensor

Soil temperature governs germination, frost risk and underground engineering, and the standard observation instrument is still the mercury-in-glass ground thermometer. Throvin offers straight-tube thermometers for topsoil, a surface thermometer for ground-surface extremes, a curved-tube set profiling 5, 10, 15 and 20 cm depths in one installation, and a right-angle model with an upright scale for fixed plots. All are internal-scale instruments built for meteorological and agrometeorological stations, research plots and long-term climate records — no power, no drift, direct readings.
