PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The TH-SJ2 is a mechanical siphon rain gauge designed for continuous recording of liquid precipitation. It records rainfall amount, rainfall intensity, and the start and end time of each precipitation event on a clockwork-driven recording chart — operating fully mechanically without any electrical power supply.
Rainwater collected by the Φ200 mm collector flows into the siphon chamber; each time the chamber fills to 10 mm, the siphon discharges and the recording pen traces the event on the 26-hour chart. With 0.1 mm rain division and 10 min time division, it provides a complete analog precipitation record for stations without automatic data acquisition systems.
